KitaBantu (keeta-buntoo) means 'we help' in the Indonesian language, and our organization is based on the commitment and dedication of people helping people.

While the focus of many charitable organizations is to help the poor in general, KitaBantu selects disadvantaged people who have gone through great lengths to make their lives better, only to be faced with another hurdle just as they begin to see light at the end of the tunnel.

Our team of selfless volunteers has visited these individuals, recorded their stories, and presents them to you in this website. When possible, we have made short videos to try to share the 'in field' experience.

Helping others refreshes the soul and we invite you to review the Stories of Hope to find a beneficiary where you will be willing to say the words 'KitaBantu'.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to give 100% of the money donated and give it to our beneficiaries, beneficiaries who are disadvantaged people who have given their all but have reached a financial hurdle where they just need a bit of a helping hand. We invite the world to help them reach their goals.

Our Vision

Our vision is for KitaBantu to be seen as an example of how charity organizations can operate on zero budgets. KitaBantu is run strictly on a voluntary basis and our vision is to be recognized by sites like charitynavigator.com or charitychoices.com as an organization that not only gives their all but gives all.

How We Work

KitaBantu works because there are enough people, like you and me, who want to help others and who are willing to either commit, time, money, or both to make it happen. KitaBantu operates on the understanding that we all must persevere and together we can break the cycle of poverty one person at a time through a volunteer driven, completely transparent, and publicly accountable organization.
